2008 Satellite Direct Readout Hotel Information

The 2008 Satellite Direct Readout Conference: Transitioning into the Future will be held in the International Ballroom of the Hilton Miami Airport from Monday, December 8th through Friday, December 12th, 2008.

Hotel Information

The Hilton Miami Airport is situated on a tropical peninsula overlooking “Blue Lagoon”, a 100 acre freshwater lake which is only 3 miles from Miami International Airport, offering Complimentary Roundtrip Shuttle Transportation. The address is 5101 Blue Lagoon Drive, Miami, Florida 33126. (Additional information about the hotel can be found at*.)

The negotiated group rate for guestrooms at the hotel is US $146 per day plus 13% tax.

Reservations must be received at the hotel by 26 November 2008. Those reservations not received by the cut-off date will be subject to space and rate available basis. Reservations can be made directly by telephone at 1-800-HILTONS (1-800-445-8667). Please refer to group name, NOAA-2008 Satellite Direct Readout Meeting (code: SRC) when making your reservations.

A credit card or U.S. funds (via check or money order) is needed to guarantee a room reservations. All room expenses are the responsibility of the individual guest. Room cancellations must be made 72 hours in advance of conference date to receive a refund.

Guest check-in time is 3:00 p.m. and check-out is prior to 12:00 p.m.

Self-parking is US $10 per night and valet parking US $15 per night for registered guest
